The Murph Challenge 2023
Get ready for the first annual Murph Challenge – a fundraiser for Objective X-Ray, a non-profit organization dedicated to providing mental health care for veterans and first responders. This event, taking place on May 27th, 2023, is not only a day of physical and mental challenge, but also an opportunity to show support for our community heroes.
The Murph workout is named after Lieutenant Michael P. Murphy, a Navy SEAL who gave his life for his team during Operation Red Wings in Afghanistan. This challenging workout consists of a one-mile run, 100 pull-ups, 200 push-ups, 300 air squats, and another one-mile run – all performed while wearing a 20-pound weighted vest.
Whether you’re participating as an individual or as part of a team, we welcome all skill levels to join us. The first annual Murph Challenge is about coming together to honor our veterans and first responders, and supporting Objective X-Ray’s mission to provide mental health care to those who have served our country and communities.
By taking part in this event, you’ll not only challenge yourself physically and mentally but also make a significant impact on the lives of those who have sacrificed so much for us. So mark your calendars, train hard, and join us for the first annual Murph Challenge.
